Cura Ortho PT is Now TRU PHYSIO! New Name, Same Awesome Care
We CHOOSE cash based physical therapy services because it allows us to provide higher quality care. Working with insurance companies doesn’t allow us to treat the way we feel is best for you. Here are a few reasons we believe makes cash PT the right fit for almost everyone:
Insurance companies will stop paying for services after a certain timespan and/or amount of visits have been used. We care about your longevity and want you to excel beyond the baseline goals. We know how important it is to get you back to your active lifestyle and KEEP you there.
Your Doctor of Physical Therapy will be working with you every step of the way. A full 60-75 minutes of our undivided attention at each session. No seeing multiple patients at once and no passing off to techs/aides/students.
We take out the middle man. There is no surprise billing 2-3 months down the road. You know exactly what you pay and there’s no additional costs for services such as dry needling, blood flow restriction training, etc. Our treatments are based on YOUR needs.
Why do we trust insurance companies to make decisions on how long, how often, and what kind of treatment patients get? We went to school for 8 years to learn what is best for you– they did not. We get to use our knowledge and expertise to decide what is best for helping you crush your goals.
YES! We are considered an out of network provider. Our system formulates superbills (receipts) that you are able to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement will vary based on your specific insurance provider and your out of network deductible (it works very similarly to in network insurance).
Please reach us at contact@truphysio.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
In the state of North Carolina, no referral is needed to see a physical therapist.
We recommend comfortable clothing that you are able to move around in and workout style shoes.
The initial evaluation is $195 for a one-on-one hour long session with Dr. Jordan.
Each additional session will range from $145-$195 per session depending on what package is selected and your recommended course of treatment.
I accept cash, credit, debit, HSA, FSA, and insurance payments from NC State Health Plan only. Payment is due at time of service.
I treat people of all genders, ages, shapes and sizes for orthopedic injuries. I do not treat men for pelvic floor issues specifically, but can give referrals for other providers in the area who do.
Here at Tru Physio we follow the "school rules" in terms of sickness. If you are experiencing a fever, cough, sore throat, vomiting/diarrhea, pink eye, rash, Covid, flu, or RSV we would advise you to call the office to reschedule your appointment: 919-900-7420.
We are an out-of-network practice, which means we don’t directly accept insurance. We operate on a cash-based model, allowing us to provide comprehensive, full-body treatment without insurance restrictions. Because we are out-of-network, all of our pricing is upfront and transparent.
This approach ensures that we can address all aspects of your movement and performance in one-on-one, 60-minute treatment sessions, giving you the time and attention needed for optimal results.
