What is Pelvic Health?

Mom's Returning To Activity

Mom's Returning To Activity

Pelvic health physical therapy is performed by therapists specially trained in treating dysfunction of the pelvic floor muscles in women. The pelvic floor is a group of muscles responsible for maintaining continence, sexual function, supporting the pelvic organs, and core stability.

We love fitness! And we love  helping new moms return to activities like running and other high impact workouts like CrossFit and Burn Boot Camp.  At Tru Physio, we have developed proven programs that help moms safely continue and effectively return to the activities they loved doing before delivery.

I treat people of all genders, ages, shapes and sizes for orthopedic injuries. I do not treat men for pelvic floor issues specifically, but can give referrals for other providers in the area who do.

Here at Tru Physio we follow the "school rules" in terms of sickness. If you are experiencing a fever,  cough, sore throat, vomiting/diarrhea, pink eye, rash, Covid, flu, or RSV we would advise you to call the office to reschedule your appointment: 919-900-7420.

We are an out-of-network practice, which means we don’t directly accept insurance. We operate on a cash-based model, allowing us to provide comprehensive, full-body treatment without insurance restrictions. Because we are out-of-network, all of our pricing is upfront and transparent.

This approach ensures that we can address all aspects of your movement and performance in one-on-one, 60-minute treatment sessions, giving you the time and attention needed for optimal results.
